Alexis Grace was voted off of American idol this week in a stunning upset, and popslant  could not be more surprised. Granted, her performance of Dolly Parton's "Joline" was not as good as some of her previous performances, she still outshone some of the other contestants, and would have been a welcome addition to the Summer Tour.

popslant  believes she is superior to some of the other surviving contestants, including Kris Allen, Michael Sarver, Lil Rounds, and, yes we'll say it, borefest snoozer Scott Macintyre, who we feel is being kept alive on emotional grounds rather than singing ability... (don't worry, he'll never see this).

Oh well, you can't unring a bell, and popslant  must reevaluate its previous picks for who possible top 3 might be. We'll get back to you on that...
